In 1985 Reebok came out with their first freestyle hi sneakers, made specially for women, and they've been a hit ever since. The past couple of years they've really turned it up a notch and have come out with amazing releases, limited editions and great collaborations. Spring 09 is no exception, there's so many to choose from but the freestyle hi international metallic collection is sexy, shiny and the colors are so bright, three things we love in our sneakers! Totally working on getting a pair or two.

En 1985, Reebok salió con los primeros freestyle hi, hechos especialmente para chavas y que han sido un éxito rotundo, pero tienen ya un par de años de estar subiéndole volúmen a sus lanzamientos con ediciones limitadas increíbles y colaboraciones con artistas alrededor del mundo. Hay tantos para escoger en esta primavera pero los elegidos por el momento son los freestyle hi international metallic que son sexy, clásicos y brillantes! Definitivamente estamos haciendo todo lo posible por conseguir un parito.

We're huge fans of tote bags in general, but pretty canvas shopping totes have a special place in our hearts. They are really affordable, roomy, reusable, easy to wash and help lower plastic and paper bag waste, all of this while being extra cute! No wonder people keep finding excuses to use them over and over again.

The other day we were watching a great episode of Married with Children, the one where Milla Jovovich is a really hot exchange student, and decided it was time to pay homage to one our favorite 80s fashion icons. Kelly Bundy was irreverent, dumb, gourgeous, sassy, always dressed to kill and she rocked one of the best heads of hair of her time, how can we not adore her!

Hace un par de días estábamos viendo un episodio de Married with Children que nos encanta, donde Milla Jovovich es una estudiante de intercambio super hot, y decidimos que era hora de rendirle homenaje a uno de nuestros íconos de la moda favoritos de los 80s. Kelly Bundy era irreverente, tonta, bellísima, descarada, siempre vestida para impresionar y para colmo tenía unos de los mejores pelos de su tiempo, cómo podemos no amarla!

STREET & VINTAGE FINDS (S&VF) # 005 "TRAPPER KEEPER"

We are really freaked out! we were at the crazy furniture and knick knack thrift store when we got a glimpse of this really cool trapper keeper with a beaver on the front, so we're all like damn! that's a cool folder so we grabbed it and BLAM!!!!!! our eyes started almost burning when we realized that we had the magazine tearsheet reference folder of an early 90's Guatemalan graphic designer.

This is an amazing collection of local and international tears, anything from Vogue and Elle to Architectural Digest is included in this treasure. This girl (we asume) was a really fashion oriented designer with a really cool thing for typography and a crush on Johnny Depp circa Kate Moss! please enjoy.

Estamos super freakeados! Estábamos en el Baratillo 2000 hace poco, cuando vimos de lejos un folder increíble que tenía un castor en la portada, obviamente lo tuvimos que ojear y BAM!!! no lo podíamos creer. Nos dimos cuenta que es el folder de referencia de un diseñador gráfico guatemalteco de principios de los 90, una colección bella de hojas de revista nacionales e internacionales, desde Vogue y Elle hasta Architectural Digest. 

La chava (creemos que es chava al menos!) era super orientada a la moda, le interesaba mucho la tipografía y estaba enamorada de Johnny Depp por aquellas doradas épocas de su amorío con Kate Moss, así que disfruten!
