Joan Smalls hails from tiny Puerto Rico but has certainly made it big, she recently made her way up to the number one spot of working models on models.com, taking the honor from the now iconic Lara Stone. Joan's made a big splash in the modeling world in a short amount of time, her big break came in early 2010 when Givenchy made her an exclusive for their spring couture show in Paris, after that, she's been working non-stop: appearing in every magazine from Italian, German, US and French Vogue while becoming the face of big time brands like Gucci, Stella McCartney, Estee Lauder and Chanel. We adore her and this just means there's Joan for a long time!

Recientemente subió al top de la lista de modelos actuales en models.com, tomando el honor de, la ahora icónica, Lara Stone.
